Ordering & Return Policies


Orders are shipped once or twice a week only. The tracking information is sent by email once an order has shipped. Orders usually take 5 to 10 business days to fill and 3 to 6 days to receive, but many in close proximity to our stores/warehouse are delivered the following day.

Items out of Stock

If an item is out of stock, we will contact you to approve either a substitute item or adjust your payment accordingly. We do not ship backordered items.  If we are unable to reach you we reserve the right to substitute items valued at $20 or less.

Special Order Items

We no longer stock several specialty items.  Due to the fluctuating dollar, we can not guarantee the pricing of any special order item.  If you wish to get a special order item at a guaranteed price we can provide you with a quote.  Some items such as Pak-O-Bird Carriers and Atoms can not be price guaranteed nor quoted due to vendors' limitations for ordering.  We now require payment for special ordered items valued at over $25.

Damaged Goods

Please inspect all packages for damage upon arrival. In case of lost or damaged items due to shipping, save ALL original packaging (inside and out) and report damage by calling us at (403) 243-2194 extension 1 within 5 business days. We will try to assist in the resolution of your claim with the shipper.

Cancellations / Non-Receipt of Shipment

Cancellations must be in writing by email or by phone prior to shipping and confirmed.  You are responsible for shipping costs should you choose to cancel an order that has already shipped.  Cancellation of orders received after payment has been processed are applied to account for future purchases.  We do not do refunds.  You are responsible for orders shipped and required to contact us should your package not arrive, regardless of whether we have received payment or not.   Please track your order and follow up with us to avoid charges due to non-payment.

Return Policy

All orders will be received in good condition or replaced upon return of damaged merchandise. If you receive a damaged box please keep the box as proof while a claim is submitted.  If you are not satisfied with your internet purchase for any reason, please contact us before returning it.  Merchandise that has been approved for credit MUST be postmarked for return within 7 days of receiving approval. Returned products must be in original, unused condition including accessories and unopened packaging. Please include the invoice number with the return.  Credit is not given for any items that are not packaged, however; we will donate these items to local Parrot rescues of your choice.

We are unable to accept returns on wood play gyms, any items removed from the original packaging, or not sold prepackaged (for sanitary reasons). Please contact the manufacturer for products with manufacturer's guarantees or warranties. We do not warranty any discounted item. Store credit is issued, less the greater of $25 or 15% restocking fee. The original shipping fees are not refundable unless returning merchandise that we shipped in error. All return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. We encourage you to contact us with any questions prior to purchase. We will NOT accept any returns or provide any defective replacements on discounted items or special orders; concerns over defective items must be taken up with the product's manufacturer in these cases. We will provide you with the correct contact information if necessary.
