The Foraging Surprise is designed for small to medium Parrots. "Searching" and foraging is a natural behaviour that Parrots learn quickly because they are rewarded for problem-solving.  This helps reduce undesirable behaviours by keeping Parrots challenged. The Foraging Surprise is an ideal all around foraging toy and an excellent start for younger Parrots.

The pet safe poly-carbonate box easily mounts on any cage and refill is a snap.  Clean with mild soap and water.  It comes loaded with wood blocks and shreddables.

This highly interactive foraging toy provides continuous entertainment for Parrots and their human companions.  The Carousel bracket mounts on the side of the cage.  It is a six inches cross and contains four 2 inch square boxes with lids.  Each box open differently and the entire device spins freely on the bracket.

Your Parrot will spin the Carousel until the box containing the preferred treat is found.  They must learn how to open the lid so that they can retrieve the food.  Add different food items such as nuts, fruit, pellets to the individual boxes.  Try hiding certain items in shredded paper or add a colorful wooden chew block in one of the boxes.

Be sure to hide treats under the crinkle shred to make this a great foraging toy.  Package of 3.
