Jewel is an easily frightened elderly bird. This sweetie is very susceptible to all kinds of triggers. She came to us from a person who did not want her when she no longer produced eggs. However, Jewel found confidence when she bonded with her best girlfriend, another parrot, at the sanctuary. As we refer to them affectionately, The Ladies are an inseparable team! We always love seeing birds flourish with new friends!
