The Butterfly Roost Ring is all leather. Roost Rings go over the roosting perch to offer your Parrot something to gnaw on at bedtime. Or place it on their favourite perch for exercising their beak.

Our Bloomers are just in time for spring foraging. There is plenty of space to hide pellets.  Each set of mini cups has a foam marshmallow and grapevine wreath to help hold pellets or treats and offer a great crunch. Colours vary.

The Blockbuster is designed for smaller Cockatoos who love chewing wood. The blocks of wood are approximately 3" by 1-1/2" and 1/2" thick. It holds 30 blocks and the same for cardboard dividers. If you don't like coloured wood we can custom make this toy with all natural wooden blocks.

This Birdie Bagel Bites is stacked with Mini Avian Waffles and the Bagel Short Bites are filled with chewy leather for your Parrots to munch on.  Just the right size for a small to medium chewer.

The Stack is strung by a nickel plate chain and has pieces of thick waffle wafers separated by large wood beads.  This toy has over a pound of wood.  The waffles are 19 mm to 25 mm (3/4" - 1") thick.  The right size for an African Grey, Amazon, or right up to large Macaws.

For those not familiar with Balsa wood, it is a very soft, pithy wood with a stringy grain.  It is grown in plantations, mostly in Ecuador.  Although classified as a hardwood, its soft nature means it grows extremely fast.  It's been used in the manufacture of model airplanes, skis, and surfboards for years.  Balsa is so soft that it shreds more than splinters.  When balsa is torn up, the small pieces are not sharp or needle-like as with other types of hardwood species.  Balsa is listed in wood industry guidelines as Non-Toxic.

This is a lightweight tabletop stand for medium Parrots with a textured wood perch.  No (ugly) tacky vet wrap.  The textured wood provides excellent grip and is beneficial for Parrots that are afraid of other types of perches.  It is easy to take from room to room and use as a potty perch. Simply place a newspaper under the stand.

Chewing is an instinct that promotes good beak health.  Parrots that are deprived of chewing materials may experience overgrown or malformed beaks.  If your Parrot is known to ingest parts of chewed-up toys then it may be best to refrain from the introduction.  Although balsa gets even softer when wet, it's still not food.  ANY TOY that may be possibly ingested should be introduced under supervision.  Keep in mind that most Parrots merely break up wood and allow the bits and pieces to fall to the bottom of the cage.  Their instinct is to create nesting materials or soft bedding.  Parrots evolved in the jungle with lots of trees.  They KNOW what to do with them. Balsa is one of very few woods that are chewable by Smaller Parrots.  It's a simple fact that harder wood is used in many toys to increase their useful life.  Harder woods, even pine, are difficult if not impossible for the little guys or Parrots with compromised beaks to destroy.  While this is good for pet owners it is a bit "at odds" with the Parrots' needs.
