To wash without losing the stiffness, place in the top rack of the dishwasher and add a tiny amount of dish soap along with a 1/2 cup of bleach.  Run the wash and rinse cycles then allow the ropes to dry a day before putting them back into the cage.

Make your own perches with these low cost hanger bolts.  Prepare your wood by spraying with alcohol and letting it dry under bright sunlight.  The natural sunlight is a disinfectant.  Please boil your wood for a sufficient length of time to remove all bark if it has been taken from an area where the wood may have been exposed to raccoons.  Raccoons carry a deadly virus that if transferred to your Parrot will cause death.

PVC Hi-Gloss Pipe will look terrific in your one-of-a-kind playgym or stand. The Hi-Gloss pipe is pre-cut to 6" 12" and 15" lengths.  You only need to design your playgym and fit all the pieces together. The Textured Perch Pipe is sold in 3" intervals so you can go as narrow as 3" in length up to 5 feet.  You can alternatively use a textured wooden dowel also sold in 3" intervals. 

Draw out your design then count all the elbows and tees that you will need. You can even add a Food Cup so that your Parrot can get those rewarding treats for good behaviour.

Our PVC Perch Caps are ready to use and fitted with stainless steel hardware.  Create your own custom rope perch using these end caps.  Simply wind our cotton rope over our stainless steel wire and secure in the caps with hot glue.  The PVC Perch Caps make it easy for anyone with Parrots that chew the dowel perches.  No more notching dowels,  Just cut the dowel to fit end to end in the cage (with caps on) then dab a little hot glue on each end before securing the cap to prevent it from turning.  When the dowel has been destroyed just twist the ends to remove and add a new dowel.

Our shallow PVC Perch Cups make it easy for any Parrot to eat.  These hard durable plastic cups are used for our custom made PVC perches with stainless steel hardware that secures a cap to the bowl. They are available in Mauve or Royal Blue and with either 3/4" wide or 1" wide PVC fittings.

Cotton Rope swings are sooo comfortable for the feet.  This small 100% cotton rope swing has two rings.  Hang a toy to the small ring from above.  Although designed for smaller Parrots such as Budgie, Parrotlets, Neophema, Lovebird, Cockatiels, Conures or Quakers larger Parrots love to unknot the cotton rope.
