Talons and beaks are constantly growing. In nature, stones, sand and earth wear down old overgrowth.  In captivity, such activity is limited thus the Beak Buffer provides the opportunity for your Parrot to rub its beak frequently.  Just attach it to cage bars, best near the food dish, at beak height.  The rough, textured coral helps remove old scaly layers from the beak when Parrots chew and gnaw.  In addition to wearing down beak overgrowth, the Beak Buffer helps clean food debris from its beak, aiding in controlling bacterial accumulation.  Their natural chewing instincts are satisfied while meeting necessary trimming needs.  Rock size vary.
