Not all full spectrum light is the same.  Some is specifically for growing plants while others are for reptiles.  A Parrot does not benefit from "grow lights" and the UV rays from reptile lamps may do more harm than good.  Be sure you have the correct specifications for your Parrot.  It is very important to provide lighting as natural as your Parrot's native environment.  We now carry Phillips fluorescent tubes for ELECTRONIC ballast fixtures that provide 98 CRI and 5000 Kelvin for near perfect noon time sunlight.  These are rated the best choice of lighting by Patrick Thrush.
